[info]genreville/[info - syndicated] genreville_feed is off and running! I'm absolutely thrilled with the reception we're getting on blogs and Twitter. Many many thanks to everyone who gave us a boost.

Our first three official posts, for your perusal:

September's Featured Artist: James A. Owen (don't miss this! [info]coppervale's artwork is really amazing)

Totally Tropes Tuesday: The Mysterious Parent

Genreville Relaunch ARC Giveaway: John Scalzi's The God Engines

We have lots more planned for the rest of the week, plus an Outer Alliance Pride Day post that [info - personal] sinboy has been working on, which reminds me to note:

As a member of the Outer Alliance, I advocate for queer speculative fiction and those who create, publish and support it, whatever their sexual orientation and gender identity. I make sure this is reflected in my actions and my work.

This week, that's taken the form of chatting with the folks at Cleis Press about them submitting books to PW for review. If you know of other queer presses that publish SF, fantasy, horror, or mass market titles, please send them my way.

They already send us stuff. PW has a policy against reviewing erotica, but if it's even barely more SFnal than erotic, I try to cover it.
